I would like to start today saying thanks to everybody who read the Spotlight artist this week because we had a big peak in visitors. I also would like also to thank Kelvin  De Veth for the interview and for control statistics.

If you didn´t have time to read the Spotlight light and you would like to do it, you can do it here. Perhaps we can beat a new record.

Now I would like to introduce something to whom doesn´t know yet, 1st Wednesday, the monthly late night cultural fix for West Londoner.

Every first Wednesday of the month, around Bayswater, takes place new and exciting events, performance, special promotions, etc. Local businesses open late to shoppers and passers by. This initiative was started in 2010 by Debut Contemporary and now supported by Bayswater Village and West London Living.

West London´s cultural spaces will cover a series of art and design launches, exclusive collaborations and one off events on the first Wednesdays of each month, when Bayswater´s creative spaces get together to promote greater cultural communication and exchanges. With many of the area´s galleries and design studios keeping their doors open until 9pm.

The London West Bank Gallery is currently showing ‘Do Look Down’ by Pahnl
Do Look Down is Pahnl’s impressive debut solo show spanning across both floors of the London West Bank Gallery. The ground floor will play host to a sprawling 40-meter stenciled city across the gallery walls along with an authentic twelve page newspaper featuring stories and articles about the painted city‘s happenings. On the first floor, a new body of work on road signs will be on display, along with an exclusive new screen print and some of Pahnl‘s classic work laid bare. This is the full experience.

Discover more here: Do look Down by Pahnl or visit the Gallery before 12th June.
