Maria Laura Matthey is a Napolitan artist based in London with a solid formation in art, make up and photography that helps in her constant search of beauty. Laura had shown her work in numerous shows: "Lala Gallery" in Brooklyn, " Signs from the body " at Pica Gallery in Naples, In 2010.

In 2013, her first solo at PAN of Naples, she presented the exhibition "Eyes to eyes", an exhibition which continues in London, in the Debut Contemporary, where every month she participate in the Private View of the gallery, capturing eyes

Some others project she is working on are: "London Calling", "Street Action", etc. But please do have a look on her website to discover more about Laura and her work.

Last weekend in London took part the Affordable Art Fair, in its edition at Battesea Park. Among a lots of things I found these artists really interesting.

Tay Bak Chiang - Cube Gallery
Tay Bak Chiang, a Chinese painter, puts together traditional Chinese techniques with contemporary ones. Cube Gallery introduces his Stone series that began after a walk through a nature reserve in Singapore.

Works by Finn Dean, an artist represented by Thomas & Paul Contemporary art, who I discovered last November in this small gallery in the heart of Little Venice, London.

Finn Dean -  Thomas & Paul Contemporary Art.
Finn Dean is an artist and illustrator whose striking cityscapes evoke a world where people appear small within the fabric of the built environment.

Carley Cornelissen -  Retrospect Galleries
I love the art work of Carley Cornelissen, an Australian artist born in Victoria but based in  Melbourne. The positivism, happiness, bright colors of those works made with acrylic caught my attention and transported me to summer sunny days.

The sweetest moment at the Affordable Art Fair at Battersea.
